Malawi’s minimum wage now at K551 per day

Malawi Government has revised the statutory minimum wage from K317 to K551 per day. This should be good news for low earners working in factories, security companies as well as domestic workers who have been crying over the past two years for the minimum wage to be adjusted upwards.
